NSMQ 2026: Edinaman SHS storms to nationals with highest opening score in Central region qualifiers

Edinaman Senior High School has qualified for the 2026 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) national championship after recording the highest score on the opening day of the Central Regional Qualifiers.

At the end of the contest, the scores stood at: Edinaman SHS – 71 points Mando SHS – 22 points Nyankumase SHS – 21 points Eguafo Abrem SHS – 10 points The 71-point tally was the highest recorded by any school on the first day of the Central Regional Qualifiers, reinforcing Edinaman's credentials as one of the region's strongest contenders heading into the national championship.
