NPP Constituency Elections: Ntim Fordjour asserts dominance in Assin South

All the contestants believed to be the loyalists of the incumbent MP won by a landslide The New Patriotic Party's (NPP) constituency elections held on July 26, 2026, in Nyankumase Ahenkro, saw the election of 11 constituency executives.

The election was keenly contested between the teams of the incumbent MP, Rev John Ntim Fordjour, and another team purported to be supported by some opposing forces eyeing the seat, as well as, some internal party bigwigs at the National level who consider Hon Ntim Fordjour a threat.

Eventually, all the contestants believed to be the loyalists of the incumbent MP won by a landslide, with each averaging 60% of total votes cast.
