NDC aspirant raises alarm over 'neglect' of pastors who backed party in 2024 elections
Richard Opee Amoako, an aspiring Deputy Organizer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region, has called on the Presidential Envoy for Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations to ensure that pro-NDC pastors who supported the party during the 2024 campaign season are not sidelined. He argued that while the party continues to engage with a wide range of religious figures, some individuals who were “on the ground and visible” during the campaign period have not been recognized. He urged the party’s leadership and the Office of the Presidential Envoy for Interfaith and Ecumenical Relations to adopt a more inclusive approach in engaging religious stakeholders.
