MMDAs urged to strengthen financial discipline

A Senior Research Officer of the Centre for Local Governance Advocacy (CLGA), Isaac Owusu, made the call at a town hall meeting in Tamale organised by the CLGA with funding support from the European Union to disseminate findings of the Public Financial Management Compliance League Table (PFMCLT).

The meeting sought to promote public understanding of public financial management, strengthen transparency and accountability in local governance, and provide a platform for engagement among citizens, MMDAs, civil society organisations and other stakeholders.
