Man jailed 20 years for incest involving 17-year-old daughter in Upper West

The court sentenced him to 20 years’ imprisonment with hard labour for incest and 10 years’ imprisonment with hard labour for threat of death, with both sentences to run concurrently.

A 47-year-old man has been sentenced to 20 years’ imprisonment with hard labour after being convicted of incest against his 17-year-old biological daughter in the Upper West Region.

The convict, Kwame Ti-Zaaeku, was found guilty by the Lawra Circuit Court following investigations by the Lawra District Police, which established that he had repeatedly sexually abused his daughter, a Junior High School student, over an extended period.
