
KAS Ghana Holds STEM Plastic Waste Competition for Catholic Schools in the Middle Sector
The German Foundation Konrad Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Ghana Office in partnership with the Education Unit of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference, Ghana recently instituted the STEM plastic waste management competition, a flagship program aimed at fostering creativity and empowering Senior High School students to move beyond theoretical science and develop practical and community-relevant solutions to these challenges.
Our Lady of Grace Senior High School in the Ashanti Region emerged as the best performing school at the STEM Plastic Waste Competition held in Kumasi.
Addressing the press at the fourth edition of the National STEM Plastic waste management competition in Kumasi, Lawrencia Akosua Pomaa, Programs Manager, KAS Ghana, emphasised that the foundation believes that young people are needed to help solve the environmental issues of plastic waste .
