“On 15 February 2026, Police intercepted a Blue Tipper Truck GN-993-14 at Toflokpo, near Sege, loaded with sacks of suspected narcotic plant materials.

Briefing the media during a press conference on recent anti-crime operations in the region, Tema Regional Police Commander DCOP Eric Asamoah Asiedu said the truck was intercepted on February 15, 2026, with the driver and alleged owner fleeing the scene.

DCOP Asiedu added that Police investigations later confirmed the quantity of suspected narcotic substances found in the truck.
