'If you change postings, you change your position as a director' - Health minister

The minister in a photograph with the Bishops of the Catholic Church in Ghana The Minister of Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has cautioned directors and senior officials in the health sector that changing approved postings could affect their positions as directors.

The minister acknowledged the Catholic Church’s contribution to healthcare delivery and reaffirmed the importance of continued collaboration.

He invited faith-based organizations, including the Catholic Church, to partner with government in completing some of the facilities on a non-profit basis, with government providing health professionals and support.
