HAPPY Programme empowers 160 young women through poultry value chain in Upper West

The HAPPY Programme is an initiative of the Mastercard Foundation in partnership with Agri-Impact Limited and is implemented by an eight-member consortium, including Catholic Relief Services (CRS), to promote youth employment and enterprise development in Ghana's agricultural sector.

About 160 young women are building sustainable livelihoods in Ghana's poultry industry through the Harnessing Agricultural Productivity and Prosperity for Youth (HAPPY) Programme, which is creating employment opportunities across the poultry value chain at Lamdi Farms in the Upper West Region.

Lamdi Farms, a strategic anchor partner of the HAPPY Programme through Catholic Relief Services (CRS), has significantly expanded its operations under the initiative.
