Government begins distribution of relief items to flood victims – Felix Kwakye Ofosu

He said even as the government focuses on the high-density displacements in Greater Accra, logistics columns are currently being organised to dispatch massive relief packages to the Central Region, Volta Region, and all other affected districts across the country.

The government has begun the distribution of relief items to victims of the June 29 flood disaster, Mr Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Minister of State in charge of Government Communications and Presidential Spokesman, has said.

Mr Ofosu said the impact of the floods spans seven regions, with the Greater Accra, Volta, and Central Regions being the hardest hit.
