Ghana weather today: Fog, light rain and afternoon storms expected
The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMET) has forecast misty conditions and light rainfall across parts of southern Ghana on Tuesday, July 14, while warning that thunderstorms and rain are likely to develop over sections of the transition and northern belts later in the day.
GMET said light rain is expected along parts of the coast during the morning, with mostly cloudy skies prevailing across southern Ghana throughout much of the forecast period.
However, thunderstorms accompanied by rain are forecast to develop from late afternoon into the evening across parts of the transition and northern regions, including Kete Krachi, Atebubu, Ejura, Sunyani, Sampa, Yendi and Damongo.
