According to the Ghana Medical Trust Fund, the five oxygen concentrators will enhance the unit's existing capacity to care for infants requiring oxygen therapy, while the mobile oxygen concentrator will play a crucial role during emergencies and in the safe transfer of patients within the hospital.

The Ghana Medical Trust Fund expressed appreciation to Rikair Company Limited for supporting efforts to improve healthcare delivery, particularly for newborns in northern Ghana.
