German President to visit Ghana

The German President, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, will lead a high-powered delegation to Ghana to take part in the German-African Business Summit scheduled for November 23 to 25, 2026.
More than 600 business leaders and decision-makers from Germany and across Africa are expected to be in Ghana for the summit, which would be a platform for German businesses to reach across West Africa and the African continent.
He said Ghana greatly valued Germany's support in strengthening its national and regional security capabilities, and added that the cooperation between the German Bundeswehr and the Ghana Armed Forces, including the engagement of German military advisors, had contributed to professional development, institutional strengthening and capacity building.
