Energy Ministry joins nationwide clean-up exercise following floods
The initiative forms part of government's coordinated efforts to clear flood debris The Ministry of Energy and Green Transition has joined the nationwide Two-Day National General Cleaning Exercise aimed at restoring environmental sanitation in the aftermath of the recent floods that affected several parts of the country.
Led by the Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Dr John Abdulai Jinapor, staff of the Ministry participated in the exercise in line with the directive issued by President John Dramani Mahama for public institutions to support the national clean-up campaign.
The Ministry also encouraged members of the public to participate in the second day of the exercise in their respective communities to support efforts to restore clean and safe surroundings.
