Community members said children who complete Primary Six currently have to walk long distances to access Junior High School education in nearby communities.

Onsonyameye community in dire need of a JHS block The Member of Parliament for the Ellembelle Constituency in the Western Region, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, has donated 50 bags of cement, a football and a set of jerseys to support the construction of a new JHS building for Onsonyameye in the Ellembelle District.

This follows a courtesy call by a delegation of the Odikro, CBE facilitators, CEA officers and elders from the community to present their educational needs under the Complementary Basic Education (CBE) programme.
