Deputy Central Regional Youth Organiser declares bid for NDC Regional Youth Organiser position

" He said his decision to contest is backed by years of service within the party's youth wing, having served as TEIN Hostel Coordinator at Takoradi Technical University, Acting Branch Youth Organizer at Gomoa Maim, Constituency Youth Organizer for Gomoa West and currently as Deputy Central Regional Youth Organizer.

Outlining his vision for the youth wing, he pledged to strengthen youth structures across the region, empower Constituency and Branch Youth Organizers, deepen the influence of the Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN), create more opportunities for leadership and skills development, and ensure that every young party member has a voice in shaping the future of the NDC.

According to Abeiku Essien, "the party's success in the 2028 elections will once again depend largely on the active participation and commitment of the youth, stressing that the NDC needs leaders who understand the aspirations of young people, listen to them, and serve with humility, integrity and courage.
