CSA opens Cyber Security Awareness Month with call for stronger collaboration

The call was made at the official opening of the 2026 National Cyber Security Awareness Month at the Cedi Conference Centre, University of Ghana, under the theme "Securing Ghana's Digital Finance Ecosystem: Building Trust Through Collaboration and Cyber Resilience.
National Cyber Security Awareness Month is observed every October to raise public awareness of cyber risks and promote safe digital practices among citizens, businesses and public institutions." Opening the month-long campaign, the Director-General of the Authority, Mr Divine Selase Agbeti, said Ghana's rapid digital transformation had created significant opportunities for economic growth, financial inclusion and innovation, but had also expanded the opportunities available to cybercriminals.
