CAITECH pledges full funding to solve mallam flood crisis amid illegal landfill controversy

President John Mahama and Chairman of CAITECH, Tang Hong (R) Mallam residents may be a step closer to relief as Chinese firm CAITECH has pledged to fully finance a permanent solution to the persistent flooding problem affecting the area, which has been linked to an alleged illegal landfill site within the Weija Gbawe Municipality.

Tang is therefore calling on the Municipal Assembly, government agencies, and relevant authorities to urgently engage the company to agree on a coordinated plan to end the recurring floods affecting Mallam Junction and surrounding communities.
