After "endless, ongoing public scrutiny", the star's spokesperson released a statement saying she "will be taking a step back from visibility" at the end of her current tour.

Grande has had 10 number one singles in the US and eight in the UK This summer, she launched the Brighter Days Ahead Foundation, a mental health initiative to support groups including the crew and performers on her current tour.

Her "step back" means she will no longer star in Stephen Sondheim's stage musical Sunday in the Park with George opposite her Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey at London's Barbican in 2027.
