Apinto Traditional Council seeks indigenisation of mineral resources
The chiefs and people of Apinto Divisional Council in the Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipality in the Western Region have appealed to the government to hand over the Gold Fields mining concession to a wholly Ghanaian-owned company when the current lease expires in April 2027.
