Africa must unite as global order shifts – Tetteh

Hannah Tetteh African countries must strengthen collective action to safeguard their interests as global cooperation weakens and geopolitical competition intensifies, Madam Hanna Serwaa Tetteh, a diplomat, has urged.

She encouraged Ghana to leverage its position as host of the African Continental Free Trade Area Secretariat by improving market readiness, strengthening commercial diplomacy through its diplomatic missions and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises to expand into African markets.

She said a united continental approach to diplomacy, trade, development and security was becoming increasingly important as multilateral institutions came under strain and major powers shifted towards bilateral engagements.
