About 11 schoolchildren injured, one in ICU, after tipper truck crashes into bus

File photo of an accident A tipper truck crashed into a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter bus carrying schoolchildren on the Dzorwulu–Accra Mall stretch on Thursday, injuring several lower primary pupils.
Assistant Divisional Officer I (ADO I) Alex King Nartey of the GNFS said the tipper truck rammed into the rear of the bus, though the cause of the crash is yet to be established.
The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) said about 11 children were on board the bus, returning from a school excursion, when the crash occurred.
