The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA), Jefferson Asare, has revealed that the nurse who was allegedly assaulted by Ralph Saint Williams at Ridge Hospital is still hospitalised.

In an interview with Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, Asare stated that the nurse, Rejoice Tsotso Bortei, was officially diagnosed with polycontusion, a condition involving multiple bruises.

Asare criticized the investigative committee tasked with probing the incident, alleging that they failed to act in accordance with their mandate. "What is happening is demoralizing our nurses.

When you come on our platforms across Ghana, our nurses are demoralized and it is very risky and very serious for Ghana," he said.
