The Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics, Mussa Dankwah, has expressed strong confidence in a victory for the (NDC) candidate, Lawyer Bernard Bediako, in the upcoming Akwatia by-election scheduled for September 2, 2025.
Speaking on TV3's Key Points programme on Saturday, August 30, 2025, Dankwah said he was "99% sure" of an NDC victory, citing findings from a recent poll conducted by his firm. "I am 99% sure that the NDC will win the by-election," he stated.
According to the Global InfoAnalytics survey, Bediako is projected to secure 53% of the votes, while his New Patriotic Party (NPP) rival, Solomon Asumadu, is expected to garner 47%. "NDC's Bediako overtakes NPP's Asumadu three days before the crucial polls in Akwatia.
His lead is propelled by voters who want development and by SHS and tertiary-level voters who preferred him by a larger margin," Dankwah noted in a Facebook post on Friday, August 29, 2025.
