Deputty Attorney-General Justice Srem-Sai has moved to set the record straight regarding speculation about missing evidence in the high-profile Republic v Adu-Boahene criminal trial.

In a statement shared on social media, he stressed that the Attorney-General's office has not lost any documents or material tied to the prosecution. "The Attorney-General's office has not lost any evidence regarding the ongoing Republic v Adu-Boahene criminal trial," Justice Sai declared, dismissing circulating claims as unfounded.

He explained that by June 18, the prosecution had already filed all relevant documents needed to build its case against the four accused persons. "As of June 18, we had filed all the documents which we intend to rely on to prove the charges against the four accused persons in the case," he said.

Justice Sai went further to detail what those filings contained. "The documents include contracts of sale, bank wire transfer records, bank account statements, company registration documents, property ownership records and purchase receipts, INTERPOL stolen vehicle records, investigative caution statements and charge statements of each accused person, records of asset non-declaration, a flow chart of money movements through a complex web of bank accounts, and testimonies of our three prosecution witnesses," he revealed.
