A new survey by Global Info Analytics has projected a likely victory for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate, Bernard Bediako, in the upcoming Akwatia by-election scheduled for Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
The poll, conducted between August 27 and 28 with a sample size of 2,050 voters across the constituency, shows Bediako leading with 53%, while his closest contender, Solomon K.
Asumadu of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), trails at 47%.
This marks a significant shift from the baseline poll, which had Asumadu slightly ahead at 50% compared to Bediako's 44%.
