A lecturer at the Kumasi Technical University (KsTU), Dr Collins Kankam Kwarteng, has urged the National Peace Council, National House of Chiefs, and top political figures to intervene and call the Dormahene, Osagyefo Ogyeman Badu, to order over his recent insults against the Asantehene and the people of Asanteman.
Dr Kwarteng believes that the Dormaahene's consistent attacks on the Asantehene could potentially spark reprisal attacks, which may escalate into a major tribal war in Ghana.
This call comes after the Dormaahene's recent comments questioning the historical narrative of the Asantes regarding the origin of the Golden Stool, which has caused widespread outrage.
