The one-week observance of Nana Konadu Yiadom III, the late Asantehemaa, is ongoing at the Manhyia Palace, drawing traditional leaders, priests, and dignitaries from across Asanteman and beyond.
Nana Konadu Yiadom III, who passed away on August 7, was deeply revered as the mother of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, and a key pillar of Asante tradition.
Her passing has left the kingdom in mourning, with a series of cultural rites scheduled to honour her memory.
Traditional priests and priestesses gathered at the palace to perform spiritual rituals, led by Baffuor Asabre Kogyawoasu Ababio, Otumfuo's Sumankwaahene.
