Following the final funeral ceremony for the eight victims of the August 6, 2025, helicopter crash, a thanksgiving ceremony is being held at the Christ The King Catholic Church in Accra for the Minister of Defence, Dr Edward Kofi Omane Boamah, one of the victims of the crash.
In attendance are President John Dramani Mahama and his wife, Lordina, as well as various other political figures and dignitaries.
