The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has condemned the racial abuse against Black Stars striker Antoine Semenyo in England.
The abuse occurred on Friday night when Liverpool hosted AFC Bournemouth at Anfield in the opening fixture of the 2025/26 English Premier League season.
Today, the PFAG, in a statement, has condemned the abuse, assuring Antoine Semenyo of their readiness to assist and support him. "On behalf of the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG), we stand in unwavering solidarity with Antoine Semenyo following the racist abuse he endured during Bournemouth's Premier League opener at Anfield on 15 August 2025. "PFAG unequivocally condemns racism in all its forms.
Racist behavior has no place in football-or in society.
