Police Ladies head coach Yusif Basigi has described his side's group in the upcoming CAF Women's Champions League WAFU B Qualifiers as the toughest of the tournament, but insists they are ready for the challenge.

The Ghanaian champions were drawn in Group B alongside Bayelsa Queens of Nigeria, Association Sportive de la Kozah of Togo, and Sam Nelly FC from Benin.

The qualifiers kick off in Côte d'Ivoire on August 23 and run into early September.

Basigi, who guided Hasaacas Ladies to the final of the maiden CAF Women's Champions League in 2021, acknowledged Bayelsa Queens' quality but stressed that no opponent would be underestimated. "For me, the draw is good, but our group is the toughest," he noted in an interview with SportyFM. "Bayelsa Queens are a big team, but every club here has earned the right to compete.
