Former Greater Accra Regional Minister, Daniel , broke down in tears at the state funeral for the eight compatriots who died in the fatal helicopter crash at Sikaman in the Adansi Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region.

Six (6) of the military helicopter crash victims have been laid to rest in a solemn burial ceremony at the Military Cemetery at Tse Addo, on Friday, August 15, 2025.
They include political and government officials; Dr Edward Omane Boamah, Samuel Aboagye, Dr Samuel Sarpong, as well as crew members; Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala, Flying Officer Manin Twum-Ampadu, and Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah.
