The Nkwanta North Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kidiyar Albert, popularly called Shuga, is urging the party to maintain its tradition of supporting presidential candidates for a second attempt, rallying behind former Vice President Dr.
Mahamudu Bawumia ahead of the next general elections.
Shuga argued that Dr.
Bawumia possesses "the experience, vision, and leadership qualities to unite the party and win power back for the NPP." He cautioned that replacing him at this stage would be a political miscalculation. "No presidential candidate has ever won the presidency on their first attempt.
