The former communications manager for the Dr.
Mahamudu Bawumia campaign in 2024 has said that the intimidation will not stop the New Patriotic Party (NPP) from criticizing the government.
Some New Patriotic Party activists have been arrested by the Ghana Police Service and National Security.
Although they were bailed on August 13, 2025, they have yet to be released from police custody.
