Member of Parliament for Akuapem North, Sammi Awuku has urged the New Patriotic Party in the Akwatia Constituency to rally behind their parliamentary candidate to win the seat for the political party.
He believes that it will be an honour in the memory of Ernest Yaw Kumi, who made several sacrifices for the constituency as a Member of Parliament until he lost his life earlier this month.
Sammi Awuku was speaking at the campaign launch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Akwatia when he made this known. "We need to unite behind Akwatia King Solomon if the Akwatia Starboy is no more.
We have to do this to honour our late MP, who had plans and aspirations for the constituency that were not realized because of his death," he said.
