The FIFA Male Young Talent Course for young referees from Member Associations is set to commence on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
The six-day capacity-building program, spearheaded by FIFA, will run until July 29, 2025, and will feature forty (40) promising young referees selected from the Ghana Football Association's (GFA) flagship "Catch Them Young" refereeing initiative.
These selected referees have gained experience officiating in key youth competitions such as the KGL Inter-Regional Championship and the Division One League Super Cup.
Throughout the course, participants will undergo a blend of theoretical and practical assessments, including fitness tests, written exams, and video analysis sessions focused on critical refereeing areas such as handball decisions, offside interpretation, and overall match management.
