The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season will begin on the weekend of September 12, 2025, and conclude on the weekend of May 23/24, 2026.
The fixture calendar aligns with the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which kicks off on June 11 and runs until July 19, 2026, allowing domestic competitions to wrap up in time ahead of the global showpiece.
This scheduling move forms part of the GFA's efforts to ensure a smooth, competitive, and well-coordinated football season across all tiers.
The Association emphasised its commitment to adhering to the FIFA international match calendar, ensuring that Ghana's top-flight season runs within the global framework approved for all Member Associations.
