Koforidua Semper Fi FC midfielder Ali Umar has been signed by global football agency Roc Nation Sports International (RNSI) as part of the company's official entry into the African football market.
The move was confirmed in a press release by RNSI on Monday, announcing its expansion across key territories on the continent, including Ghana.
Ali, a central midfielder who plays for Division One League side Koforidua Semper Fi, is among a select group of teenage talents identified and signed by the agency after months of scouting and due diligence.
The Ghanaian joins players from South Africa, Nigeria, The Gambia, Guinea, and Zimbabwe in what RNSI describes as a strategic push to "nurture elite football talent" and provide the necessary support for young players to thrive at the highest level of the game.
