Ghanaian rising star Jubed Baffour has attributed his growth in the music industry to the influence and mentorship of renowned artists Sarkodie and Rema, describing their impact as instrumental to both his sound and mindset.
Speaking on The Chat on Channel One TV on Saturday, July 5, Jubed singled out Nigerian Afrobeat sensation Rema as a major source of inspiration, particularly for his originality and confidence. "Rema is one of my inspirations when it comes to my music, how different he is, and how much I also want to stand out," he said.
Jubed also reflected on a turning point in his career when a clip of his performance on Breakfast Daily went viral.
The video caught the attention of music executives, including Don Jazzy, leading to multiple collaboration offers and support from the industry. "I consulted my pastors and leaders on how to go about everything, and they helped me stay grounded," he noted.
