Pius Enam Hadzide, spokesperson for Bryan Acheampong's 2028 presidential campaign, has claimed that many Ghanaians are disappointed by the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) loss in the 2024 general elections, which saw the National Democratic Congress (NDC) secure a landslide victory.

Speaking on Eyewitness News with Umaru Sanda Amadu on Friday, July 4, Hadzide said the NPP is working to reposition itself to regain political power in the next election.

He argued that the party has a better track record of delivering inclusive development and social interventions that benefit Ghanaians across the country. "Between all the political parties, if you go on the ground and ask the ordinary Ghanaians, they will confirm to you that they are sad that the NPP is out of power.

Because it is the NPP that delivers the goods when it is in power," he stated.
