The Asantehene, , is scheduled to meet with members of the Kusang Traditional Council (traditional leaders of the Kusasis) today, Monday, June 30, 2025.
This meeting is a continuation of the Asantehene's ongoing efforts to mediate the long-standing Bawku chieftaincy conflict.
A statement released on June 29, 2025, by the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Asantehene, emphasised that the meeting is an integral part of the Asantehene's mediation initiative.
It also urged all parties involved in the conflict to cooperate fully with the peace efforts. "His Majesty , Asantehene, will meet with the Kusang Traditional Council on Monday, 30th June, 2025.
