Administrator of the Minerals Development Fund (MDF), Dr.
Hannah Louisa Bissiw-Kotei, has firmly rejected attempts by an unnamed individual to intervene on behalf of arrested illegal miners, stating that no amount of influence or bribery will stop the law from taking its course.
In an interview on Adom FM's Dwaso Nsem, Dr.
Bissiw-Kotei revealed that she was recently approached by a person who attempted to use personal history and connections to secure the release of the offenders. "The person gave me a long history about how far back we go and wanted to see if the arrested individuals could be released. "But I made it clear that it would not be possible.
