Investigators suspect the seizure is linked to a wider drug trafficking network, and further investigations are underway to identify other individuals connected to the operation.

The seizure follows a series of recent successes by NACOC, including the destruction of over sixteen metric tons of seized narcotic drugs in June 2025, an operation described as proof of the Commission's active role in the fight against drug trafficking.
