Government sources have confirmed that Abdulai Bashiru Dapilah, who was appointed as Acting Executive Director of EOCO only a few months ago, has been reassigned to the National Security Secretariat as a Technical Advisor.

The move, which comes without an official explanation, has sparked fresh questions about leadership stability within Ghana's key anti-corruption and financial crime institutions.

Stepping into his role is Raymond Archer, a respected investigative journalist known for his in-depth investigations into financial fraud and corruption.

Archer's appointment as Acting Executive Director is expected to inject new energy into EOCO at a time when its work is critical in the fight against economic and organized crime in Ghana.
