2024 Flagbearer of the (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed optimism that the recommendations outlined in the Mike Oquaye report will usher in much-needed reforms within the party.
Speaking at the NPP Headquarters in Accra on April 23, 2025, Dr Bawumia described the report as a blueprint for strengthening the party's internal democracy and positioning it for future electoral victories. "This report is not just a document; it is a call to action.
The recommendations contained in it are timely and necessary for the rejuvenation of our great party," he stated.
He further emphasised that the findings were the result of wide consultations with party grassroots, executives, and stakeholders.
