The highly anticipated launch of the Feed Gha­na Programme (FGP), a flagship initiative by the govern­ment, has been rescheduled to Saturday, April 12.

The event will take place at the Methodist School Park in Techiman, Bono East Region.

Initially set for April 11, the launch was postponed due to conflicting government activ­ities requiring President John Dramani Mahama's attention.

This was announced in a press statement issued by the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture and copied the Ghanaian Times yesterday The statement noted that FGP was aimed at transforming the country's agricultural land­scape, enhance food security, and boost agricultural produc­tivity. "By supporting farmers and improving food systems, the programme is expected to have a substantial impact on the na­tion's development," it added.
