The highly anticipated launch of the Feed Ghana Programme (FGP), a flagship initiative by the government, has been rescheduled to Saturday, April 12.
The event will take place at the Methodist School Park in Techiman, Bono East Region.
Initially set for April 11, the launch was postponed due to conflicting government activities requiring President John Dramani Mahama's attention.
This was announced in a press statement issued by the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture and copied the Ghanaian Times yesterday The statement noted that FGP was aimed at transforming the country's agricultural landscape, enhance food security, and boost agricultural productivity. "By supporting farmers and improving food systems, the programme is expected to have a substantial impact on the nation's development," it added.
