Four individuals narrowly escaped harm when a helicopter made a forced landing at Ajumako Kokoben in the Central Region on the morning of Wednesday, August 6.

The aircraft, bearing registration number 9G-ADW, was en route to Prestea in the Western Region when the pilot was compelled to divert and land at the Ajumako Kokoben Community School park around 10:30 a.m.

According to eyewitnesses, the pilot cited poor weather conditions as the reason for the emergency landing, indicating that continuing the flight would have posed serious risks.

The helicopter remained grounded for over three hours before resuming its journey once conditions had improved.
