A new governing board has been constituted for the Creative Arts Agency, bringing together a blend of public sector officials and seasoned creatives to oversee policy direction and drive growth in Ghana's arts and entertainment space. The 14-member board features familiar faces in the industry, including comic actor Clement Amponfi Bonney, popularly known as Mr.
Beautiful, celebrated playwright Latif Batalima Abubakar, and singer and former broadcaster Korkui Selormey.
These creatives are expected to contribute their wealth of experience to the board's mandate of advancing the sector through strategic policy and development initiatives.According to a statement released by the Agency, the board's composition includes representatives from various government ministries, statutory bodies, and the creative arts community.
While the President's appointed Chairperson has yet to be named, the list confirms Gideon Cyril Aryeequaye as the Executive Secretary of the Agency.
