The Ashanti Regional Police Command has commenced inquiries into a shooting incident at Adventist Senior High School, Kumasi, on Friday, April 4, 2025, at approximately 12:00 pm.
Reports suggest that a 16-year-old second-year student brought a locally made pistol loaded with a single BB ammunition to school.
While attempting to show the firearm to a fellow classmate, the weapon accidentally discharged, resulting in injury to another student.
Authorities have withheld the identities of those involved.
