45 PWDs in Atwima Nwabiagya municipality receive support

He said the support was thus intended to enable the beneficiaries to become active contributors to economic growth and social development, urging them to utilise the resources, skills and opportunities productively to improve their income and standards of living.

At a short ceremony to donate, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipality, Wisdom Osei Boamah, said the interventions were not merely acts of charity, but support for their economic empowerment and investment in human potential.

Also, four persons received GH₵18,000 to cater for their medical treatment and healthcare needs, with the Ghana Federation of Disability Organisations being presented with a cheque for GH₵12,000 to support the group’s organisation development activities and their advocacy activities in the municipality.
